Notice of Data Breach

Wardell Builders, Inc. (“Wardell”) takes the security of personal information seriously. We are providing this notice to inform you of a recent data security event that may have impacted certain information related to you.

What Happened

On December 24, 2025, we identified suspicious activity on our network involving unauthorized access to limited portions of our server. During the course of our investigation, on or about February 6, 2026, we discovered that certain files within the server accessed were removed from our network. 

What We Are Doing

Upon learning of the incident, we immediately took steps to secure our network and mitigate against any additional harm, including removing any unauthorized access and resetting all users’ login credentials.  We promptly launched an investigation and retained third-party forensics and cybersecurity specialists to secure our network and determine the nature and scope of the incident, including whether any personal information was impacted. After extensive efforts to obtain, review, and analyze the impacted data, on or about March 9, 2026, we discovered that certain files containing personal information were affected.

While cybersecurity threats continue to impact all of us, we are taking ever-increasing measures to protect the information entrusted to us. We continually evaluate and modify our practices and internal controls to enhance the security and privacy of your personal information.

What Information Was Involved

The impacted files contained personal information that varied by individual but included name, Social Security number, and driver’s license number.

What You Can Do

To date, we are not aware of any reports of identity fraud or improper use of any personal information affected as a result of this incident. We recommend that you remain vigilant by reviewing account statements and monitoring credit reports. Under federal law, you also are entitled every 12 months to one free copy of your credit report from each of the three major credit reporting companies. To obtain a free annual credit report, go to www.annualcreditreport.com or call 1-877-322-8228. You may also place a fraud alert or security freeze on your credit file at no cost by contacting the three major credit bureaus at:
